Technical Writer


The Technical Writer will work closely with the professional engineering and research teams to support preparation of test manuals, instruction manuals, weekly or monthly reports, customer briefing slides, formal reports, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information to customers in a succinct and detailed manner. Full-time position.




  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational or test procedures and manuals

  • Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals

  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation

  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content

  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

  • Prepare graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with colleagues, and working with managers to discuss technical programs

  • Meet with subject matter experts to ensure that topics are appropriately addressed and discussed

  • Revise, edit, or update instructions, test plans and technical information as necessary

  • Follow project schedules and deadlines




  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or Information Technology preferred

  • 3-5 years of similar experience working in a technical writing position

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and graphics design tools (e.g Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
