NAVWAR Analyst


Conducts data analysis of GPS data, frequently of data collected during field assessments or exercises. Develops plans for the collection of data and oversees or collects data during a field assessment or exercise. Uses various software to parse the data. Analyzes the data for trends, patterns, results. Writes data analysis report or assists writing the report. Full-time position.





  • Analyze, investigate, and assess advanced threat equipment including data recording equipment.

  • Analyze data collected during a field assessment, exercise, or other events in which the JNWC participates.

  • Analyze GPS Electronic Attack Frequency clearance request packages in accordance with CJCSI 3212.03 and in support of USSTRATCOM/J31.

  • Analyze Navwar data provided by other activities.

  • Perform studies and analysis to integrate Navwar into CCMD planning and operations.

  • Prepare/write an assessment plan or prepare/write the quick look and formal reports after the completion of a POFA or other assessment event.

  • Develop data collection and data management plans for field assessments, exercises, or other events in which the JNWC participates.

  • Develop prototype threat system emulators to model adversary and coalition system characteristics for high fidelity hardware-in-the-loop simulations.

  • Develop software, scripts, and other applications to support the use of GIANT, STK, MATLAB, Microsoft applications and other software used by the JNWC.




  • Less than 5 Years of Experience

  • Requires a HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred) and 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
